REMOTe Learning and the SCREENRIGHTS Educational Licence
If recent events have taught us anything, it’s the importance of flexible learning. Thankfully the Screenrights Educational Licence isn’t only for the classroom, and can be applied in remote learning settings, allowing teachers and students to access the content that they need wherever they are.
The Screenrights Educational Licence supports educators in distance learning, enabling the sharing of audio-visual material in online classes and recorded lectures. With a Screenrights licence, educational institutions in Australia and New Zealand can copy any program broadcast on TV or radio to use for educational purposes in the physical or virtual classroom, covering both in-person and remote learning.
Licensed online resource providers facilitate access to extensive libraries of educational material, copyright cleared, so teachers can share educational content directly with their students in a safe environment.
