With a Screenrights licence, government administrators in Australia copy any program broadcast on TV or radio to use for the services of the Commonwealth or State.
Under the Australian Copyright Act, all State, Territory and Commonwealth government departments and agencies can copy from radio and television and the internet, provided they enter an agreement with Screenrights and pay a fee.
If you work for a Government department or instrumentality and would like to find out more about the licence, please contact us.
