As our members may know Screenrights has six years to distribute the royalties it collects, this means that each year some royalties face a deadline.
Members may have received a deadline notice from the Member Services team relating to royalties that are currently being held for them. These members have until April 29th to finalise these registrations so the royalties can be paid.
This year’s deadline impacts royalties from our 2010 distribution year. This means programs that were copied, communicated or retransmitted from and Australian or New Zealand television broadcast between 1 July 2009 and 30 June 2010 are subject to this year’s deadline.
This includes royalties from the:
· Australian Educational Service
· Australian Government Copying Service
· Australian Retransmission Service
· New Zealand Educational Service
